Business Advisory
In conjunction with the Icelandic Participation in the world Expo, the Iceland Pavilion will house a business service for companies looking to do business in China and Iceland. An experienced and dedicated member of staff will oversee the project under the guidance of the Commercial Representative of the Icelandic Embassy in Beijing and the Overseas Business Service (OBS) of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Iceland.
The Business Service part of the Icelandic Expo Participation will provide advice and assistance mainly to Icelandic and Chinese firms that contribute to trade between the two countries. Services on offer include research reports, network building, interpretation and assistance with event organisation.
Iceland’s Participation in the 2010 World Expo Shanghai offers a unique opportunity to businesses and organisations to present their products and services in the Chinese market. A special business centre in the Pavilion will be operated in conjunction with a business advisory service in order to maximize opportunities for Icelandic enterprises as well as Icelandic artists, charity organizations, cultural programs etc.
